Wee Eagles Wrestling, is for boys and girls in grades K - 6. Practices are held on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 8:30. Grades K-2 will practice from 5:30 to 6:45 and grades 3-6 will practice from 7 to 8:30. The first practice will be on Tuesday, November 1, 2011. Practices will be held at the Sugarcreek Education Center. Wrestlers should bring a water bottle and wrestling shoes to each practice. There will be SOME shoes and head gear available at sign ups if you would like to borrow them for the season. Head gear is optional at this level.

Wrestling meets are held on Sunday afternoons starting in December, 2011 and finishing in February, 2012. Every wrestler will have the opportunity to wrestle at each meet. We usually have 7 to 8 meets, a regional tournament and a league championship tournament. At every wrestling meet, each wrestler is paired with someone similar to his/her age, weight and skill level and will typically wrestle 3 different matches.

All forms (Reg Form, Waiver, Em Med, Birth Cirt, and Physical) are to be turned no later than the first practice

Each wrestler will need to bring a water bottle to practice – the drinking fountain will be closed during practices.

The school is not a playground – Please remind all siblings and wrestlers to act accordingly.  Many evenings during practice other events are being held in the building. *Each child will need to be accompanied to and from the Auxiliary Gym by their parent*

Do not leave siblings in the wrestling room or lobby area unattended.

We are very proud of our practice location in the Bellbrook Middle School Auxillary Gym and hope everyone will make sure to keep it in top notch condition.

If you are interested in coaching either head coach or assistant coach, you must complete a coaches application and submit to the director of your sport. This must be completed annually. Thank you. Wee Eagle Board.
